I love Pepperidge Farm's Bordeax cookies.
Here is my best recipe for baking them.
After taking them out of the oven to cool
sprinkle the warm cookies a little salt.
Ingredients:
1 stick unsalted butter
1 cup dark brown sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1 cup all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a mixing bowl cream butter
and brown sugar for 2 minutes.
Add milk, baking powder and
slowly add flour to butter mixture.
Drop by teaspoonsful onto cookie
sheet (they spread to 2½" diameter).
Bake 10 minutes.
Let cool slightly before remove from pan.
They get crispier as they cool.
